A small little update from the development team on the situation with our HTML5 client…
We’ve finally done the hard parts for the HTML5 client. That would be the account transfer and also the in-game filter and some major bugs that would not have made the public build suitable for many of you.
Over the last few days we have been hard at work with constant fixing and updates to the HTML5 client, we are confident in releasing very soon.
We are excited to now confirm to you all we plan on translating the client to Spanish and Portuguese in the near future. We’ve been hearing you all during your days on Club Penguin Rewritten and we are now fully listening for this brand new chapter of ours. Once our client has been translated, it is important to note that those on different languages will be on their own servers and will not be connecting to other languages.
Another change we will be making will be perhaps a questionable one, we will be adding more mascot schedules on our What’s New blog. We have noticed this to be the better option when it comes to both easy communication and a better experience for the players. We will continue to look into this to see what else we can do to improve mascots, but for the most part, this is definitely a trial to see how well it goes.
Until then… Waddle on!
